LV1.5 Paintball Marker
Since its creation in 2004, the EGO has been a constant threat on the battlefield. Whether you play scenario, woodland or the highest level of speedball, the platform has adapted and moved with the times to provide an incredible level of performance that never fails to impress.
The Ego's ability to continually adapt and compete is inspiring...
At its core, the LV1’s key attributes and outstanding performance capabilities are maintained, but the LV1.5 styling package brings the platform up to date with unique design features and custom parts. The latest body sculpting introduces a series of dynamic lines and darts that add an air of purpose to the look of the marker. These lines are mirrored in the bespoke LV1.5 POPS assembly to complete the visual framing of the package. The feed system has been updated with our latest low-profile feed neck (first introduced on the CS1.5) which reduces the profile of the marker and the locking sprocket thumbwheel creates a more robust and reliable package.
The low-profile feed neck with self-locking sprocket thumbwheel gives the LV1.5 a lower profile with extra functionality.
In its latest iteration, the LV1.5 benefits from a cool bespoke pops assembly to reflect the body styling forms.
Finally, a blade-style trigger has been fitted to reflect the direct visual theme and give a custom look and feel to this, the very latest in the EGO LV platform line up.
As trends change and technologies improve it’s the EGO’s ability to adapt that inspires us to make the tweaks and upgrades that keep this incredible marker at the very top of the poppet-valve pile.
THE LEVER VALVE.
At the very heart of the EGO LV1.5 is the industry-leading Lever Valve system (hence the LV). The system incorporates a profiled (cam-shaped) lever between the rammer and the exhaust valve that is used to separate the action of the rammer and bolt from the action of the valve. This additional element in the mechanism has several major benefits over the conventional directly-linked knock-open system, particularly with respect to the force required to open the valve and the rate at which the valve is opened. This indirect operation of the exhaust valve means it can be opened slower, with considerably less force, yet retain excellent seal integrity, something that has blighted other low opening force or balanced valve systems.
The Lever Valve System Revolutionised The Ego Line And Is Unique Amongst All Poppet Markers, Keeping The LV1.5 At The Very Top Of The Food Chain...
While existing designs may require a low force to open the exhaust valve they are still bound by the need to overcome blowback using the speed and mass of the bolt which means that the valve has to be opened with a greater speed than is actually required. Often, these designs will also suffer from low closing forces that can drastically affect efficiency. The LV1 suffers none of these drawbacks: the valve can still utilise a large closing force to help create a robust seal and yet, through the mechanical advantage of the lever, it requires significantly less force from the rammer to open it.
The EGO LV platform’s Lever Valve system is a truly unique and efficient system unlike anything previously seen on a marker of this kind.
